Interactive Reading - Cat in the Hat with DIY Thing Puppets

Image
Make these adorable - and super easy - DIY Thing Puppets!! We have loved using them for interactive reading with Cat in the Hat! It's an easy way to integrate movement, and child involvement as you read! I honestly made a set of four of these in less than ten minutes, and we have spent far, far, far more than that playing with them! Slime Recipes ~ Fun & EASY Science Experiments

Image
Slime recipes are fun science experiments for kids of all ages, from preschool to high school! Even adults enjoy watching the polymers cross-link and thicken "right before their eyes" with these great, gooey science projects. Since I have a lot of slime recipes here at Preschool Powol Packets (and more scheduled to come) I decided to make a virtual bookshelf with my slime recipes! So, welcome to the collection! My personal favorite slimes use borax, but I have a few slime recipes without borax too -- if that's what you're looking for, just scroll down to the right heading.  :) Safety Warning : Do not let your children eat slime or any of the ingredients! Children who may be sensitive to slime ingredients should wear gloves or play with the slime inside a plastic bag. If you have any questions, please consult your doctor.
