Preschool Ladybug Lunch

Image
This preschool ladybug lunch goes perfectly with our adorable ladybug craft and ladybug math activity ! Click here for some free ladybug (and other insect and invertebrate) preschool printables ! I'd like to introduce Sarah from Raising Human Beans . She's sharing this fun ladybug themed lunch with us today: My name is Sarah Bean, and I have young kids, ages 2 and 4, and they love fun food. I love fun food! It is such a creative outlet for me, to cook; and it makes it even better when THEY enjoy what I make! And when it is something THEY can help with- how much better is that? Talking with my 4 year old, she gave me the idea to do a Lady Bug Themed Lunch. So I took into account what she liked to eat, and she eats a lot of apples and peanut butter. Plus, who can go wrong with chocolate chips? I asked if she wanted to help, and it was a go! I like to make our food and activities educational, so I made “trail mix bugs” and a Peanut Butter and Grape Tree.

Letter S Free Printable Minibook Alphabet Series

Image
I have a preschool daughter getting ready to read, so I made this set of free printable minibooks! Each minibook focuses on a letter of the alphabet and since I know a lot of preschoolers work on letters, I am sharing them here! Today's book is the Letter S! Each book is full of about nine coloring-book style pictures that start with the featured letter. You just print them off, cut out the pages, and staple them together! Or, even better, let your preschooler or kindergarten kiddo cut out the pages! They get to practice writing their name on the front page, trace the letter on the front page, and see the letter again on each page in the minibook! It is perfect for homeschool, preschool, or even kindergarten! If you want to play with the pages more, you could print two sets, paste them on construction paper, cut them out, and play memory or matching games. It just reinforces the sounds that S can make as you remind your children that all the words in this book star
