{FREE} Printable Preschool LEGO Board Game!

This fun {FREE} printable preschool LEGO board game is perfect to include in a no-candy Easter basket for your kiddos!  Of course, it's also perfect to use just for fun or for math any time of the year!

Click here to print your {FREE} copy of Across the Ocean With Bricks, a {FREE} printable game to play with LEGO bricks!!

Playing the game is very straightforward and should take less than 15 minutes so your youngest preschoolers can enjoy playing along!  Older children may enjoy identifying all the ocean wildlife that is pictured on the board game while they build a boat more suited to their skill level!

The goal of the game is simply to build a LEGO boat with the bricks that you collect as you move through the game.  On your turn you roll a die, move the indicated spaces, collect the indicated bricks, and work on building your boat.  When you reach the end, you win!  (Everyone wins!)  If you don't have the required 15 bricks on your boat at the end, you get to do another loop to collect extra bricks before you win.

Use any small toy as markers for each player.

This game is great for letting kiddos use their engineering skills, counting skills, number recognition skills, subitizing skills, and more!

Please note that the game is copyrighted 2016 Preschool Powol Packets.

Since Easter is coming up, this game would be the perfect accessory to an Easter basket!  Fill eggs with LEGOS, paste the game inside a manilla folder, add a stuffed animal, and...voila!  Instant DIY Easter basket!!

Very cute! What is "subitizing?"

Subitizing is the ability to 'see' a small amount of objects and know how many there are without counting.
I had to look it up when my son brought some homework home doing this in Kindergarten.
Thanks Anon & rymansmom! Yep, subitizing is knowing how many objects you see without counting...we do it without thinking when we roll a dice and know how many spaces to move in a game. It's easy to forget that we didn't always know! ;) (And it's funny to find out there is a name for these things!)
