{FREE} Owl Counting & Adding Puzzles

Use these adorable owl puzzles to practice math and reasoning skills with your young children! Not only did my preschoolers love this free printable, but my 1st grader thought they were pretty fun too!

We love owls, so doing math with owl themed printables seemed like a pretty natural way to enjoy the subject!

This {FREE} preschool printable includes 24 2-piece owl math puzzles.

What can you do with these printables? TONS!! Here are a few ideas:

* Turn the pieces upside down and play memory.

* Match each puzzle to a corresponding set of tally sticks.

* Spread all the pieces out right-side-up and match them together.

* Play a "go-fish" style game.

* Have a race to build the most owls.

* Set up three owls where two are correct and one is not. Let your kiddos find the "wrong" owl.

* Color in the dots on the counting owls with markers or stickers.

* Use an abacus to mimic the addition problems on the adding owls.

What will you do with them?! I'd love to know! Feel free to tag me on Facebook, send an email, or leave a comment!!

Do you love owls too?!  Be sure to check out our owl counting playdough mats, fun and delicious owl rolls, and our owl finger puppets and rhyme!
