This name activity combines a little hide-n-seek with name learning fun! And it is perfect to go with this month's Virtual Book Club book Madeline!
The kids in Madeline all sleep in beds lined up in a row. Sometimes it's fun to take your "learning activities" out of the actual school room and into a crazy place, like the bedroom! Or, if you're in a school, bring a blanket or two and make a giant bed in your classroom!
This activity is quick and easy to set up, and loads of fun to play with!
Simple Supplies:
* Each kiddo's name pieces (see step 1!)
* blankets or beds
* pens, pencils, or markers
Easy How To:
1- Prepare the name pieces by cutting a sheet of paper in half lengthwise. Write the children's names across the paper, and then cut out each letter in their names.
2- Hide the pieces in the blanket!
3- Let everyone find their name!
4- Let each child assemble their name, choose a writing utensil, and trace their name.
5- If everyone wants to, do it again!
This month's Virtual Book Club's book is Madeline!
